Deadly Ears in Deadly Hands

Year: 2022
Medium:
Acrylic on canvas, digital images

Created for the clinical research study ‘Deadly Ears in Deadly Hands’ currently underway at Menzies School of Health Research. This painting represents the collaborative learning effort to improving ear health.

The ears in the centre area represent the patients carefully listening to the health information provided by the Aboriginal Health Practitioners. The brain between the ears takes in this knowledge and disseminates down into the body (below) and throughout the community to their family and friends (above).
